Alyssa Penaluna
I’m Alyssa Penaluna (she/her), an Adolescent Education Support Specialist at Sanare. I hold a master’s degree in Special Education from the University of North Texas and completed a graduate certification program at Midwestern State University to become an Educational Diagnostician. I’m also a certified Mathematics and Special Education teacher in Pennsylvania with fifteen years of classroom experience.
At Sanare, I work with students and families to make learning feel more manageable and meaningful. My focus is on helping each student build confidence, stay organized, and find strategies that work for them. I want learning to feel less stressful and more achievable, especially when life outside of school feels heavy.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, watching science fiction shows and movies, and spending time with family and friends.
