John Webster
Life happens fast with no instruction manual, and very early we learn that no one gets through without struggle that leaves an imprint on us. Sometimes, we are aware of the impacts of traumatic experiences, but often we don’t know all of the impacts until we explore more deeply in a safe environment, or until a life event brings things to the surface.
My name is John, and I am a pre-licensed clinical mental health counselor. I co-facilitate the Trauma-focused PHP in Exton. In this group, I strive to facilitate an environment of trust, humor and vulnerability in hopes that each person comes away with a sense of resilience that they can take onward on their path. You don’t have to walk this journey alone.
My approach is humanistic and experiential, informed by training in EMDR, Psychodrama and parts work. We have all spent much time in our heads, fighting old thought patterns and shame. We aim to build a group experience that helps dissolve internalized stigma, that can serve as a foundation for the life that you are trying to build.
