Victoria Maurone
Are you looking for something a little bit different from traditional talk therapy? Maybe what you're currently doing is helping, but you're craving an additional layer of support. You may be noticing that your body is holding on to experiences that your mind hasn't quite been able to reach. You may be looking for a space that feels safe, supportive, and attuned to your whole self, body, mind and nervous system.
I'm Victoria, a trauma therapist and yoga teacher, and I may be able to help. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania, Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). My work centers on supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions through an integrative, holistic approach to healing. I offer a warm, compassionate space where you can explore both your current challenges and the deeper patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
Here at Sanare I offer support through our adjunct EMDR Therapy Program where I work with individuals to support trauma healing and mind/body balance. During your adjunct sessions we can work on processing through painful experiences and restoring a sense of safety and regulation to both the mind and the body. I also facilitate Holistic Specialty groups with an emphasis on Yoga Therapy, where our IOP clients have the opportunity to learn new yoga-based skills. These groups are designed to complement the clinical treatment through trauma conscious movement, breath-work, and meditation, offering a supportive space to reconnect with your body, build emotional awareness, and experience holistic healing alongside your support system.
On a more personal note, I love to practice seasonal living and Ayurveda. I love exploring nature and cooking fresh, seasonal foods. I’m a big fan of animals and you may even catch a glimpse of my mini black rescue poodle, Beau, in the background of your next virtual session. Yoga and EMDR therapy have been big parts of my healing journey, and I'm grateful every day to be able to share something that's meant so much to me with all the clients that I'm honored to serve.
