My name is Taylor, and I use she/her pronouns. I'm also an avid dog lover, a fellow anxious person, and a member of the LGBTQ community. I'm a licensed clinical social worker, which is basically a therapist who also considers how relationships, environment, and daily life are impacting your overall well-being.
Therapy with me will offer you a sense of peace, connection, and an increased ability to handle daily stressors. I utilize various modalities, including psychodynamic therapy, which is a fancy word for exploring your unconscious thoughts, feelings, and past experiences in order to build self-awareness. I will assist you in learning new ways to manage your everyday experiences so you can live a more enjoyable and fulfilled life.
This sounds daunting, I know, but not every session will be filled with the heavy recounting of your entire childhood. Healing can be light and enjoyable as well. I really appreciate hearing about your week, your latest relationship woes, or that thing you're really proud of. Our sessions can include it all.
