Ellie Taylor
I’m Ellie Taylor (they/them), a Licensed Social Worker leading the LGBTQIA+ Adult IOP program in Center City, Philadelphia. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Earlham College and my master’s in Social Work from Smith College School for Social Work.
My work as a therapist is rooted in relational and psychodynamic perspectives, trauma theory, harm reduction, and motivational interviewing. I also use creative art interventions and psychodrama to help clients explore identity, substance use, and healing through imagination and expression.
I believe in the power of group work and the resilience of LGBTQIA+ communities. Each group I facilitate is built on connection, creativity, and shared growth.
Outside of work, I enjoy drawing, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and spending time with my cat, Orlando.
