Fatima Kanneh

DBT-Focused Turning Point Program Therapist

Fatima Kanneh is a Master’s level clinician who currently leads the evening adult Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) On-the-go therapy program virtually in Havertown. She earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Bloomsburg University and her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.

Fatima has experience working with adults in Catalyst program and Turning Point program settings, providing therapy for anxiety, depression, and helping clients maintain structure alongside medication management providers. She specializes in depression, grief and loss, PTSD, anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, and crisis management.

Fatima uses DBT, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing techniques. She applies a person-centered, trauma-informed approach, emphasizing meeting clients where they are. Fatima also provides resources to families to help strengthen support systems.

When she’s not in session, Fatima enjoys hiking, reading vampire novels, and traveling — she’s visited 10 countries and 35 states!
