Catherine Wagner
Catherine (she/her/hers) is a Master’s level counselor facilitating the Turning Point program for survivors of trauma in Havertown. She received her MS in Mental Health Counseling from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and her BA from Bryn Mawr College.
After working as a certified sexual assault counselor, Catherine now brings a holistic trauma-informed approach to her work. She is trained in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Trauma-Focused CBT, and also incorporates Parts Work (Internal Family Systems) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Catherine specializes in PTSD, sexual assault counseling, depression, grief, and relationships, with a special passion for supporting LGBTQ survivors and individuals from marginalized communities. She emphasizes therapy as a collaborative process and creates empowering spaces for healing.
In her free time, she enjoys baking, hiking, making music, exploring the city, and spending time with her family and friends.
