Are you looking for more than just traditional talk therapy? Have you tried other types of therapy and it wasn’t helpful? Are you looking to incorporate strategies to help you feel better?

Are you looking for a place where you can be heard and understood by other women who get what it’s like to deal with things like perimenopause or depression?

In the Women’s virtual Turning Point Program group, you’ll learn techniques to help you listen to the messages your body is sending you—so that you can understand them, be with other women who get it, and learn ways to heal from the bottom up.

I'm Jen, and I’m a licensed professional counselor. I’m also a certified yoga and meditation teacher, clinical supervisor, and EMDR therapist.

A supervisor helps other therapists find the best way to help their clients. And EMDR is a type of trauma therapy that uses things like bilateral stimulation—like tapping or eye movements—to heal trauma and calm the nervous system.

We will work together to look inward for healing and growth. Together, we’ll develop a plan to guide you where you want to go. We can learn how to have compassion for ourselves.

I provide a safe space of acceptance, non-judgment, and compassion—where you can allow whatever is coming up to come up. Whether it’s grief or joy, anger or even laughter, we hold space to be open to whatever is, without fear, and provide guidance when needed.

While we can’t change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to prepare to heal trauma and past wounds.

In this group, you’ll get to learn techniques like Internal Family Systems. IFS is what we call “parts work,” which helps you understand the different parts of yourself so that you’re not feeling like you’re at war with yourself all the time—sort of like the movie Inside Out.

We also meditate and learn tools like somatic experiencing, which means that you’ll learn a better way to understand what your body is telling you and find ways to calm your nervous system.

I always tell people: I’ve never taught anything that I haven’t tried first. So I know these tools work.

I know it can be scary and overwhelming to do something like this for the first time. But together, we can help you heal.
