Alex Knaub

I’m Alex Knaub, a master’s-level clinician with a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from West Chester University.

I lead the Young Adult IOP program in North Wales and provide coverage for other IOP programs, as well as Outpatient counseling through Sanare. I work primarily with young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, personality disorders, mood and adjustment disorders, and trauma-related challenges.

My approach combines cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. I bring humor and authenticity into sessions because I believe real connection makes growth possible.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my cats. I love crafting, stained glass art, and spontaneous adventures, preferably the kind that end before it gets too late at night.
