Naya Rivera (She/ They) is a Master’s level clinician and Nationally Certified Counselor with four years of experience. This includes working in multiple school settings through IBHS and student teaching. Additionally, she has worked in child welfare providing TF-CBT to children who have been abused. Her experience is not limited to children and adolescents, but has worked with adults with intellectual disabilities assisting them through daily challenges. Naya has worked throughout the inner city of Philadelphia and has been exposed to a wide variety of cultures and families.

Naya is passionate about working with adolescents who have complex trauma, anxiety, and depression. They believe that it is important to help give the skills and opportunity for success to the next generations to help create a more mentally aware adult society. When working with adults and adolescents alike, Naya believes that everyone is deserving of space and recognizes the need to be heard. That's why they practice with a person centered lens while also bringing in psychodynamic teachings and reality based interventions. She is also committed to feedback both from clients and professionals to help remove the imbalance of power between client and clinician.

When not at work Naya can be found taking long hikes through the woods, creating art or binging shows. She is also an avid reader and loves discovering new forms of literature to enjoy. Naya is a social butterfly and loves planning trips with her friends and family.
