Sophie Phillips

Coverage Turning Point Program Therapist

Sophie Phillips (she/they) is a Master’s level clinician with four years of experience, including peer counseling for college students, support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and individual and group work with adolescents at Catalyst program and Turning Point program levels of care. They graduated from West Chester University with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Sophie is passionate about working with adolescents and the LGBTQ+ community, emphasizing client agency and the importance of compassion at every stage of healing. They integrate DBT, ACT, and CBT techniques to help clients manage struggles while navigating their systems.

Sophie frequently incorporates clients’ hobbies — through media, art, writing, music, and physical embodiment — to help express and process emotions. They value all forms of communication and honor the creativity and uniqueness of each individual.

Outside of work, Sophie enjoys sewing, drawing, dance, choreography, and spending time with their cats.
