Hey! I’m Amelia Shearon (she/her), a Content Marketing Intern at Sanare and an incoming junior at Ohio University. I’m majoring in Communications, minoring in Advertising and PR, with certifications in HR and Social Media.

At Sanare, I work on flyers, social posts, and visual content that showcase what makes this place different, our humanness. Whether it’s a headline that sticks or a layout that tells a story, I want the work I create to mean something.

I’m really drawn to anything that connects people: music, storytelling, design. I’m usually building playlists that match oddly specific moods and designing posters just for fun. My favorite movie is Forrest Gump, not just because it’s iconic, but because it captures so much of what I believe in: honesty, connection, and the beauty of the unexpected.

What matters most to me is making things that feel real. Not just content for content’s sake, but work that helps people feel seen and understood. I’m still figuring things out as I go (aren’t we all?), but I know I want to keep creating work that’s honest, emotional, and just a little bit different in the best way.
