Chocolate Chip Scones

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp grass-fed butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 1.5 cup whole wheat/all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

 

Preheat oven to 425*F. Cream together the softened butter & sugar. Add yogurt, & vanilla/almond extracts. Sift in the flour & baking powder, mix well. Fold in the chocolate chips. Form dough into scones (8 large/12 mini), and place onto greased baking sheet. Bake for about 15-20 mins, until a toothpick comes out clean. Enjoy!
