Who's appropriate for PHP?
Our Substance Use PHP Track is for anyone struggling to thrive on a daily basis and looking to gain the tools for thriving no matter the place in your journey. Individual barriers to thriving may look similar to that of our IOP groups, with higher intensity. One may struggle with drug or alcohol use or dependence, suspension from work, revoked drivers license, relationship problems, lack of daily structure, difficulty with sobriety and so much more. Sanare Today’s (previously PACE, Inc.) substance use PHP track is appropriate for individuals 18 years of age or older.
What can you expect?
Sanare Today (previously PACE, Inc.) offers 5 days of PHP to assist community members in gaining and maintaining sobriety quicker, with the extended support days. Similar to other groups, participants can expect to be met with compassion and whole person oriented approaches to treatment. Members are encouraged to enhance support systems through community networks such as AA, NA, and other recovery groups. Each group day is made up of skill application, processing, and sometimes inclusion of supports. In our PHP program, education groups are also offered daily to focus on specific skills used outside of the group. Participants can expect to have a space to check in around sobriety, triggers, progress, or stuck points and challenge to apply skills outside of group hours.
Is family involved?
Yes! A family or support component is always incorporated into programming aiming for better communication, boundary setting and introducing skills for accountability with sobriety. This can take place within or outside of the group itself.
