Lucía Hermo
Feeling stuck, lost, disconnected, or looking for an open and inclusive space where your agency is centered? Welcome.
My name is Lucía Hermo (she/her), and I'm a licensed associate professional counselor. I run an in-person Turning Point Program group in Center City. Before becoming a therapist, I was a community organizer, and I bring that into my work. I aim to support you and meet you where you're at to chart a path in your life. One that may be winding and difficult, yes, but that is uniquely yours. One that celebrates community and authentic connection with people who have been there.
I pull from different theories, including ACT, systems theory, and dialectical behavior therapy, to help clear away what may no longer be serving you and make room for brighter things. I also encourage light movement, playfulness, and art. I provide therapy with a gender-expansive and anti-racist framework, and I explore neurodiversity, culture, and power structures.
I love group therapy, and I truly believe in the power of collective support. Life is hard, our structures are rigid, and uncertainty is around us. So let’s come together and find a new direction.
