We do therapy differently

You're not going to get to just "okay" again. You're going to get a whole new life.

Let’s be honest

the traditional model of therapy once a week doesn’t work for everyone.

That’s why we’ve created a system that addresses a hierarchy of needs from one-to-one sessions to immersive 5-days-per-week programs.

Rapid Renewal Sessions

Don’t have any time, period? Our Rapid Renewal sessions are loved by the way-too-busy (EMDR intensives).

On-The-Go Group Therapy

Want to test the waters of group therapy? Or maybe you finished your group but want to keep going? These once-a-week group therapy sessions are an opportunity to practice skills and get continued support.

Therapy plans

Designed for real life

Because everyone gets knocked back in life at some point, no matter how good things might look on the outside.

When you go through our group programs you’ll get new coping skills, a group of people who know what you’re going through, an experiential environment where you can practice setting boundaries, new perspectives and confidence. This ensures those skills are second nature by the time you have to use them in the real world.

No matter where you’re at, whether you think your situation isn’t bad enough, or it’s too late to treat, we’ll find you a therapy program that supports your needs.

Which therapy program's right for me?

Our friendly team of expert therapists is on hand to discuss your options, so you don’t need to worry about a thing. The program we recommend will be based on things like your availability, location, and the intensity of support you need.

Advice from past clients

“Because of the EMDR sessions during individual work I felt a lot of rapid improvement as well as increased stability during group sessions."

Maria
51, North Carolina

“I really appreciated [my therapist’s] ability to facilitate whatever the group ends up discussing despite having a specific planned activity for that time—which, in turn, fostered more healing and encouraged more participation. I really enjoyed my particular group I was placed in.”

Aisha
19, Delaware

“The beginning of the process was smooth, and all my questions were answered in a timely manner. The process of enrolling was surprisingly less stressful than I assumed.”

Liam
23, Pennsylvania

“I’m incredibly grateful for all of the support with claims and insurance. It’s been such a blessing to know that you are all helping me behind the scenes and that you all have my back.”

Kolby
32, Delaware

“Starting this program and coming here every day allowed me to look forward to something every day and start to feel like I had a purpose again for the first time in a long time… it’s a beautiful thing to hear and listen to everyone’s experience and realize we are not alone in our healing and our experiences.”

Elise
44, North Carolina

“I was very against therapy in a group setting before I started at Sanare. After being in group for 5 weeks, it’s really opened my eyes to different and positive experiences…The first day was very exhausting—I slept 13 hours after mine—but it was so worth it.”

Soraya
25, Pennsylvania

“I felt comfortable to share about what was wrong—I’m leaving actually feeling better about my future and being alive.

Jac
36, North Carolina

“My experience at Sanare helped me to become less fearful, find purpose and passion in life, and relate to others about painful experiences, emotions, and feelings. Sanare's a community of people who want you to be healthy and happy.

Benjamin
57, Delaware

I am NOT the same person I was 5 weeks ago. I am happier, lighter, and a more educated individual. I still have a lot to learn, but I now have the tools to do so.”

FAQs

We’ve heard it all. Here’s what people ask—and what we tell them.

It falls into a pretty nice rhythm, and it’s designed to help you feel grounded, not overwhelmed.

Here’s how it usually flows:

Ease in. We kick things off with a check-in or grounding moment—sometimes quiet, sometimes creative. You’re not thrown into the deep end without a second to think.
Get oriented. You’ll get familiar with the space, the group, and what to expect. It’s less “What am I doing here?” and more “Okay, I can do this.”
Dig in. This is where we explore what’s really going on—we’ll talk stressors, habits and stuck points, as well as boundaries, communication, and daily structure. The stuff underneath the symptoms.
Do the work. Through guided activities and group support, you’ll start practicing what you’re learning in real time. It’s not just talking—it’s actually shifting things.
Make it real. We close with a daily takeaway: one thing you’re walking out with, one step closer to feeling like yourself again.

You don’t need to have the right words. You just have to show up. We’ll help with the rest.

For everything outside of our Catalyst program, definitely. And that’s kind of the point. The Catalyst program's designed for structure and accountability if you’re not working right now—but the rest are built to fit into your life, not take it over. Morning, afternoon, or evening—there's a time for you.

A lot of places try to get you back to just ‘okay’ again. We’re not stopping there. Sanare’s about helping you build a life way beyond that baseline—even if that doesn’t feel possible yet.

Let’s be real—this isn’t a magic fix. Progress doesn’t happen just by coming to a first appointment. But believe it or not, most people start to feel a shift within 2-3 sessions. The more you show up and engage, the more you put in the work, the more we can help you move toward what you actually want: relief, clarity, and momentum. We’ll take it one doable step at a time.

Not sure if it’s bad enough to reach out? You don’t need a diagnosis to know something feels off.
Ask yourself:

  • Am I constantly overwhelmed—by school, work, family, or just…everything?
  • Do I cry more than I want to, or feel sad more than I feel okay?
  • Is my inner voice mostly criticism and worst-case scenarios about myself, my situation and my future?
  • Do I have thoughts of hurting myself?
  • Do I feel stuck in worry, like nothing’s going to work out or change?
  • Is sleep a mess—too much or not enough?
  • Is food a mess—too much or not enough?
  • Are relationships (at home, work, or school) always tense or explosive?
  • Am I struggling to cut back or stop drinking alcohol or using substances?
  • Have I had thoughts like “I don’t want to wake up tomorrow”?
  • Have I recently been in the hospital or a treatment center?

If you answered “yes” to a few of those—or even just one that hit a little too close—this is your sign.

You don’t have to wait for rock bottom.
You just have to take the next right step.
We’re here when you’re ready.
