Lewis Johnson, LPC, NCC, CCTP, CET II

Lewis Johnson, LPC, NCC, CCTP, CET II (he/him) is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) leading the trauma-focused intensive outpatient program for adults in King of Prussia, PA. Lewis obtained his Master of Science degree in Pastoral Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Neumann University.

Lewis approaches therapy from a person-centered approach and believes that every client with whom he interacts already has the knowledge and answers they seek within them; however, having a companion to travel on their journey with them can help ease the pain and sadness that it can sometimes bring. Lewis believes that the therapeutic relationship plays a significant role in one’s healing and can empower a client to rewrite the narrative to which they have been subscribing. Lewis recognizes the ways that trauma can impact every facet of a person’s life and live within one’s body, so he works with each client to maintain the wellness of their mind, body, and soul.

As an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist and self-identifying Black cisgender male, Lewis collaborates with his clients to ensure that they receive the care they seek and provide them with support that allows their unique and beautiful stories to be told at the pace that they decide. Using EMDR, psychodrama, IFS-informed practices, and other experiential techniques, Lewis works to cultivate an environment where exploration and self-discovery can thrive.

In his free time, Lewis enjoys traveling, cooking and baking new recipes with his son, going to the movies, trying new foods from other cultures, listening to music, attending live concerts, playing video games, spending time with friends and family, and lounging on the beach.
