Kate Racine, Licensed Professional Counselor
Kate is a licensed professional counselor, nationally certified counselor. Kate is currently leading an intensive outpatient group and general outpatient group for children/young adolescents (tweens) in Sanare Today's Exton location. Kate earned her M.S. in Clinical Counseling at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She has experience working with all ages (young children to adults) and in a variety of settings including outpatient, intensive outpatient, family based, residential, and inpatient hospitalization, as well as being a clinical supervisor. Kate's primary specialty focuses are children and adolescents, adoption, family stress, bullying, self-esteem, attachment, anxiety, and depression. Her main therapeutic approaches consist of cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, and ecosystemic structural family therapy. Kate thinks empowerment is an essential piece in wellness and motivation, as well as understanding symptoms are just a piece of the person, not the whole picture.
