Devan Aber, Couples & Family Therapist
Devan Aber is a master’s level clinician who graduated from Drexel University’s Couple and Family Therapy program. She earned her bachelor's in human development from the State University of New York at Oswego. Devan currently leads the adult intensive outpatient program for Dialectical Behavioral Therapy in King of Prussia, PA.
Devan has experience working with all ages, in a variety of mental health settings. She has worked in intensive outpatient programs previously and specializes in working with adults. These intensive outpatient programs include Caring Together, a women’s substance use recovery clinic, and Rogers Behavioral Health, an OCD and anxiety clinic. Devan has also worked as a float clinician at Rogers Behavioral Health, providing additional support to clients who require a more intense level of care. She specializes in treating adults struggling with OCD, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, and depression. Devan’s therapeutic approach utilizes a tailored mix of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, motivational interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment therapy to help clients achieve goals and live more meaningful, value-driven lives. Devan is a firm believer in the power of self-compassion and strengths-based treatment. Her approach is collaborative, and she aims to empower clients to understand and embrace all parts of themselves, leading to a more balanced and fulfilling life.
When not at work, Devan can often be found reading, baking, visiting a local coffee shop with friends, or spending time with her partner and their two cats, Jack and Hendricks.
