Kat Hogan
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, isolated, or like even basic tasks feel impossible, you’re not the only one. A lot of people come into group feeling exactly that way, and the truth is, you don’t have to figure it all out alone.
In this group, we cover the basics that so many of us never actually got taught, like how to regulate emotions, set boundaries, build self-worth, and manage the day-to-day. We also talk about motivation, reframing unhelpful thoughts, creating structure, and connecting with others in a way that feels safe and real.
You’ll leave with tools you can use immediately. Tools that help you feel more grounded, more connected, and more capable of handling whatever life throws at you.
I’m Kat. I’m a therapist with a master’s in clinical mental health counseling, a certification in alcohol and drug counseling, and an associate license. I’m also trained in trauma work and EMDR, which just means I help people heal from hard stuff that’s happened. I pull from CBT, DBT, and ACT—that means we’ll use practical skills, mindfulness, and values-based work that actually applies to your life.
My vibe is calm and consistent, with some humor thrown in when it fits. I really believe that you are the expert on your own life—I’m just here to walk with you. I’m a big animal and nature lover (I have three dogs and a bearded dragon), and I love hearing about your pets or your favorite spot outside.
If this group sounds like something that might help, even if you're unsure or nervous, I’d love to have you try it. It’s kind of like standing at the edge of a high dive. You may never feel totally ready, but once you jump, you might be surprised by what you're capable of.
