Tim Sosin
My name is Tim Sosin, and I am one of the trauma program supervisors at Sanare. I also run the in-person trauma-focused turning point program in Lititz Pennsylvania. As a program supervisor, I seek to support and care for my team and help them to experience joy and satisfaction in their work. I work to ensure that every single person on my team knows their worth and power to be an agent of change in the lives of those who come to Sanare for something different than they have ever had before.
As a trauma specialist and certified EMDR therapist, I provide attachment focused EMDR and other forms of trauma therapy to help people experience the restoration of their sense of healthy and secure relationship with self, others, and the world around them. People who come to my group have a chance to heal relationally with others whose nervous systems tell similar stories. My goal is tailor treatment to the needs of each person, and to sync up with the life narratives told by their bodies, their beliefs, their emotions and experiences and to help people actually do something to shift the way that they’re nervous systems response to the world around them. My clients tell me that even though this process is deep and life altering, it is gentle, doable, and personal. I love to support people who know that they need a new sense of security, protection, nurture and wisdom built into their identity again I believe that recovery is the daily life rhythm of returning what has been lost stolen or laid away back to its rightful place, and I absolutely enjoy the power and unique resources that each client brings to the therapeutic relationship.
Other than work, I’m keeping things simple. I’m resting, I’m playing tennis, I’m fishing, I’m writing songs, I’m long boarding, I’m caring for my home. I’m eating a good meal; I’m soaking in the love with my wife and son. It’s good. I love my work and life, and there is space for you
