I'm sure you've been in this situation before. You're seeing your teenager struggle with things, and they don't know how to talk about it. And even worse, neither do you. You're desperately trying to figure out how to help, but you still didn’t get that parent handbook in the mail.

In my group, your teen will learn how to start answering these difficult questions and, more importantly, how to begin coping with whatever they may be struggling with.

I'm Mike, and I'm an LPC, which is just a fancy way of saying I'm a therapist licensed in Pennsylvania. I'm also considered a magical unicorn in the psychology field, as I'm a man who works with adolescents. I've been providing therapy for almost 25 years, and I love what I do.

I use a variety of therapy modalities, like CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care. But really, I bring all of these together to create a client-centered approach, where I treat each person as an individual and help them achieve their goals, whatever they may be.

The most important thing for me is building a strong relationship with each person I work with, as I believe this forms the foundation for all change in therapy. I also like to use a lot of humor, as life is too hard and difficult without being able to laugh every day.
