Dr. Lou Bevilacqua is the founder of Sanare. He is passionate about the belief that all individuals can thrive, no matter what life presents. His vision is to build a world where people wake up every day with the belief that they are okay.

Dr. Lou has been a practicing clinician since 1989. He has worked in community mental health, schools, juvenile detention centers, psychiatric hospitals, large group practices, and private practice. He has developed multiple programs for children, adolescents, and adults. Trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy, he received his Psy.D. from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Lou is the author of several professional books, including his self-help book "When You Can't Snap Out of It: Finding Your Way Through Depression" available on Amazon. A frequent speaker for both professional and community audiences, Dr. Lou believes strongly in holistic, integrative healing beyond traditional talk therapy, considering the physical, social, and spiritual health of each person.

M.Ed. in Community Counseling – Lehigh University

Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology – Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM)

Outside of work, Dr. Lou is married to his best friend and has been for over 25 years. He is a proud father and grandfather. When not working, he enjoys golf, spending time with family, and focusing on thriving — both personally and professionally.
