
Shanika Sanchez, Social Worker
Shanika earned her bachelor's degree in social work from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Connecticut, and her master's degree in social work from Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania. She has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2018 and is licensed in both Delaware and Michigan.
Shanika's professional experience spans virtual and in-person settings, where she has provided mental health therapy services to adolescents, adults, families, and couples on an outpatient basis. Additionally, she has worked as a virtual Mental Health Clinician, delivering therapy and comprehensive case management services to individuals in a community-based setting in Michigan. She holds Level I and Level II Reiki Certifications and is actively pursuing her Master Level Reiki Certification.
With a passion for working with diverse populations, Shanika specializes in individual therapy using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Humanistic approaches as her primary treatment modalities. Her current focus is on providing mental health services to groups through holistic and behavioral health therapies. Shanika integrates energy healing into her practice, supporting individuals in their journey of healing, growth, and positive change.
In her spare time, Shanika enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, listening to self-care podcasts, and exploring new plant-based recipes for healthy eating.
