Molly Roberts, Mental Health Counselor

Molly Roberts is a master’s level clinician who currently leads the evening adult intensive outpatient program in Havertown. She graduated with her bachelor’s in psychology from West Chester University and continued to earn her M.S. in Clinical Counseling from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Molly has experience working with adults of all ages in intensive outpatient and outpatient settings. Prior to joining the Sanare team, she provided counseling services for those affected by addiction and co-occurring disorders, while collaborating with medical providers for medication management. In addition to addiction, she also specializes in depression, anxiety, grief, PTSD, self-esteem, and crisis management. Molly uses cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing techniques while maintaining a mind-body-spirit therapist standpoint. She applies a person-centered, trauma-informed approach to create a safe, comfortable space for clients’ self-exploration to achieve better wellness.

One of her strategies is to match therapeutic skills with stressors for clients to learn and apply to the problems that bring them to therapy. Her favorite part of working in the field is establishing rapport and building a connection with clients to feel supported. In her free time, Molly enjoys spending time with loved ones, working out, playing tennis, baking, watching TV, and playing with her cats.
