Life Coaching Program

Sanare Today's life coaching program provides guidance for day to day living as well as therapeutic technique implementation. It involves working with adolescents and adults struggling to thrive at their ideal capacity. The core process involves mainly individual, but at times, group sessions. The coaching plan is determined through the collaboration of the client, the coach and the referring provider (if applicable). There are two packages for coaching. One includes meeting one on one, in person or virtually, for a total of 60 minutes, unless predetermined otherwise. The other package involves more of a subscription format where the individual pays a weekly fee to have the coach check in randomly throughout the week to ensure follow through of various plans, skills etc.

This program is designed for individuals who would benefit from more experiential services instead of, or in addition to, traditional mental health or substance use treatment. Life coaching is an effective step down from the intensive outpatient program and an effective addition to individual, one-on-one treatment.

Tasks include:

  • Career Goals (i.e. helping with school or job applications and interview skills)
  • Daily Functioning (i.e. assessing the home/living environment, grocery shopping, cooking, learning to clean, organization, gym/exercise, paying bills (finances), making phone calls (student loans etc.), train/bus)
  • Therapy Objectives: (i.e. exposure therapy treatment program provided by therapist, assistance with anxiety provoking situations, prompting and assistance with awareness for thought reframing.
  • Socializing and Support Groups: (i.e. eating out, dating profile, role-play dates, going to social events, shopping, going to AA or other support groups, going to a meet-up group, new programs)
