Haley Triolo, Mental Health Counselor
Haley Triolo, MAAT earned her Master’s of Art in Art Therapy in 2019 and currently services adolescents and young adults in Sanare Today’s IOP and Outpatient program. Previously, Haley utilized humanistic and person-centered approaches with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations in various settings to create meaningful change. Haley spent the majority of her professional career working with incarcerated individuals utilizing DBT approaches to foster mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, and radical acceptance.
In session, art-making is utilized as a space to hold unwanted emotions, express feelings that are difficult to put into words and sublimate energy into a healthy and prosocial outlet. Haley’s enthusiasm for the creative process encourages those who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, and other emotions impacting daily functioning into a lucrative space of insight, acceptance, and healing.
