Courtnie Perri, MS
Courtnie Perri is a Master’s level clinician who obtained her degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Scranton. Courtnie also obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Marywood University with a concentration in art therapy and psychology. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) as well as a registered 200-hour yoga instructor.
Courtnie is experienced in working with adults, children, teens, and young adults in a variety of settings such as partial hospitalization, outpatient, and private practice. Courtnie’s specialties include anxiety, adjustment/mood disorders, stress management, trauma, self-esteem, mindfulness, and art-based approaches. Courtnie primarily utilizes a cognitive behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach within her practice. However, she utilizes an eclectic approach as well such as person-centered therapy, humanistic therapy, rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), and psychodynamic therapy. Additionally, Courtnie enjoys utilizing mindfulness exercises and art-based approaches within her work with individuals to assist them in becoming more present and experience a deeper sense of self. Overall, Courtnie believes individuals have the strength and answers within themselves to thrive while she acts as a guide throughout their journey.
In her spare time, Courtnie enjoys reading, biking on trails, watching True Crime documentaries, practicing yoga, and trying new restaurants.
