Amy Shellhamer, Experiential Trauma Therapist

Amy Shellhamer, MA, NCC, CET II, (she, her, hers) is a gifted clinician who finds meaning and purpose in her work. Amy is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Certified Experiential Therapist (Tier II). She is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) with advanced Trauma training from Jefferson University. Amy leads the Trauma IOP for adults at Sanare Today’s Chester Springs location.

Using an experiential approach, integrated with talk therapy; Amy works with those who have struggles with relational trauma, grief and loss, sexual assault, and development of post-traumatic growth. With warmth and humor, Amy creates trusting relationships and a safe space for healing.
