Alana Hilsey, BS

Alana Hilsey is a Master's Level clinician who earned her M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is currently leading the child/tween intensive outpatient group at Sanare Today's Exton location.

Alana has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of clinical settings including community mental health, outpatient therapy, and intensive outpatient programs. Alana specializes in treating those struggling with anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and adjustment/life transitions. Alana believes in a holistic treatment approach with a focus on wellness practices along with therapeutic interventions. She utilizes cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) as her fundamental clinical approach as well as motivational interviewing techniques, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness.

Alana believes therapy goes beyond symptom management and her main priority is to instill hope and support and empower her clients to make lasting, positive change. In her free time, Alana loves spending time with family and friends, journaling, listening to podcasts, taking spin classes, and enjoying time outside, especially at the beach!
